Tinderholt Announces Re-Election Bid to House District 94 Seat

(Arlington, TX) On Thursday, State Representative Tony Tinderholt announced his intent to seek re-election to the Texas House of Representatives.

Tinderholt made the announcement saying, “It has been an honor representing the people of Arlington, DWG, and Pantego. I am proud of the many accomplishments we made this last session, like providing $5 billion in tax relief and making meaningful changes to the property tax system and providing real school finance reform for the first time in a generation. That said, significant work remains to be done. As our liberties are under attack, I feel called to defend the rights of my fellow Texans in the halls of the Texas Capitol for another two years. I look forward to earning the support of my community once again over the next 14 months.”

Tinderholt has utilized his extensive experience as a combat veteran in his service as Vice Chairman of the Defense & Veterans’ Affairs Committee. He also serves as a member of the Homeland Security & Public Safety Committee and has prioritized border security throughout his tenure. He has been named a “Taxpayer Champion” by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, “Faith & Family Champion” by Texas Values, and “Courageous Conservative” by Texas Conservative Coalition over the years. A nonpartisan Rice University study has ranked him as one of the top five most conservative legislators for every session he has been in office.
