TINDERHOLT FILES HB 407 TO PROTECT THE TEXAS ELECTRIC GRID
Protecting our State is Always a Top Priority

(Arlington, TX) Friday, Representative Tony Tinderholt filed his first bill of the 85th session.

HB 407 will create a board with appointed members from the Speaker of the House, Lieutenant Governor and Governor’s office. This board will be given the authority to take the information Texas already knows from existing studies, execute the infrastructure changes which would protect our grid, and pay for these changes, without charging power companies one penny.

Tinderholt commented on the legislation saying, “Texas is the only state in the lower 48 states who can protect our grid. I have spent 2 years studying the issue of our grid, discussing the vulnerabilities that exist, and helping craft legislation to solve this issue. We will work tirelessly to ensure that the grid is secured by end of the 85th session.”

Tony Tinderholt Represents District 94 and lives with his wife Bethany and daughter Tyler in Arlington. Tony is a proud father, combat veteran, and conservative Republican. He was ranked the 3rd most conservative legislator in Texas by Rice University.
